1. Drank out of one yesterday, bought one this summer (june)
interviewer gave a bottled water, didn’t have a meal plan, convenient to have water in the room -- didn’t have own kitchen worked a lot
2. Not really, tastes the same
3. Yes
4. Usually drink filtered tap water
5. Probably equally the same, probably bottled. depends where you get tap water from, some places don’t have (like 3rd world country will have less filtration and more polluted). it’s a misconception that tap water is bad, when it’s normally fine here in the US
6. I think so, given its presence as a market. for certain events when you’re not close enough to tap water. as an emergency, if you’re on a boat in the ocean. cases without a filtration system. if we banned bottled water, lots of people would lose their jobs, tons of markets would die out.
7. An individual buy at least 1 case (24 bottles) every 3 weeks
8. Yes to all 3

1. Over thanksgiving break. We used to have a water filter, but now we buy bottled water. Bought a big 24 pack. Planning on getting a water filter soon, so there will be no need to buy bottled water then.
2. Not really. Whatever what looks like its the cheapest.
3. Yes.
4. Usually tap, but when we have the filter. At Stanford, I drink tap (dining hall). Never had bottled water at Stanford.
5. I would assume they are of very comparable health effects.
6. No, I think for a lot of people it has to do with them thinking its healthier. Or more convenient, when they are on the go.
7. Normally, $0. Basically nothing.
8. All of the above.

1. Probably over a year ago. I don’t remember the reason. If I’m on a trip or in Europe and you don’t have any other choice. Can’t always drink the tap water.
2. No
3. Yes
4. Tap Water
5. No difference between the two.
6. For some people its convenient because they don’t have to fill up the bottle themselves, they can just buy a huge pack and take one. They don’t have to waste 30 seconds to fill it up. Drinking from water fountains is really hard and you never get satisfied. Also a lot of reusable water bottles are poorly made.
7. $10
8. All 3.
